What we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. Here's what we collect and why:

Email address (newsletter only). If you subscribe, we store your email to send you content. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics for basic traffic data (page views, referrers). No personal data is collected. No third-party trackers.
Geolocation. The "near me" feature asks for your location via your browser. This data stays on your device and is never stored on our servers.
Local storage. We store your theme preference (light/dark) in your browser. No account needed.

What we don't collect

No tracking cookies
No advertising pixels
No personal profiles
No data sold to third parties, ever

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is stored in our database (hosted on Supabase in Canada). You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email or contacting us directly.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only (authentication for admin users). No marketing or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA (Canada's privacy law), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. If you want your email removed from our newsletter list, just ask.
